泰國內閣於2022年9月27日同意成為海牙協定的會員國，加入海牙協定 (Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs) 須先向世界智慧財產權組織 (World Intellectual Property Organization, WIPO) 遞交請求書與檢附相關聲明，通常向WIPO遞出請求後會於3個月後生效。此外，為因應加入海牙協定，泰國相關法規也將配合修正，例如設計專利的專利權保護期限將自原本的10年延長為15年。
