EPC審查指南 (Guidelines for Examination in the European Patent Office, EPC Guidelines)、PCT-EPO檢索與審查指南 (Guidelines for Search and Examination at the EPO as PCT Authority, PCT-EPO Guidelines) 以及UP指南 (Unitary Patent Guidelines, UP Guidelines) 在更新後已於2026年4月1日正式實施。更新後的指南支援三個官方語言，且已經可在EPO官網下載閱讀。

先前的歐洲專利指南 (European Patent Guide) 以及Euro-PCT指南 (Euro-PCT Guide) 中大部分的資訊已經統整至各自的新指南當中，其餘內容則併入歐洲專利局官網內。上述兩則舊指南將於2026年5月31日後於官網下架。新的UP指南則是已於2026年4月1日取代舊的UP指南。
