阿拉伯聯合大公國批准加入「關於國際專利分類之史特拉斯堡協定 (Strasbourg Agreement Concerning the International Patent Classification)」以及「國際承認用於專利程序的微生物寄存布達佩斯條約 (Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure)」，並已於2020年12月公布於官方公報。
