美國專利局宣布，於2026年3月23日當天或以後，請求參與人工智慧自動檢索計畫 (Artificial Intelligence Search Automated Pilot, ASAP) 者免繳納規費（可參考台一雙週專利電子報第386期），以減輕參與者的經濟負擔。除此之外，美國專利局亦提升ASAP的受理專利申請量，目前規劃每個審查發明專利的技術中心 (Technology Centers, TCs) 至少受理400件申請案，總共受理至少3,200件申請案。

ASAP計畫的參與期限至2026年4月20日為止，或是各技術中心受理案件滿400件為止。
