歐洲專利局推出新的線上工具，目前可在MyEPO還有歐洲專利局官方網站上使用。自2025年12月15日起，第三方可透過新工具對申請中的歐洲專利案，以及異議中的歐洲專利案提出第三方意見。新工具可以匿名提交引證文件，但非匿名提交者可以加快審查速度。所有提交的資料會傳遞給審查部門或異議部門進行評估，最後收錄在European Patent Register的公開資料庫。歐洲專利局期望透過此項新工具提升專利審查的品質。
