澳洲專利局在與新加坡專利局舉行雙邊會議時簽署MoU。未來向澳洲專利局提交的PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty, PCT) 國際申請案可以指定新加坡作為國際檢索局 (International Searching Authority, ISA) 和國際初步審查局 (International Preliminary Examining Authority, IPEA)。
