The “Patent Application Document Error Detection System” educational training was held on September 13 and 27, 2023 in the auditorium on the 18th floor of the TIPO. To ensure that more applicants (agents) may familiarize themselves with the operation of the Error Detection System, the TIPO further launched a tutorial video on YouTube.

When using the system, applicants (agents) first complete the patent documents (in .docx format), log into the TIPO website (https://tiponet.tipo.gov.tw), click on the “Patent Application Document Error Detection System [Beta Version]” link, access the “Patent Application Document Error Detection System [Beta Version]” dashboard, and then import the patent documents into the system.

The system is available to the public since September 28, 2023, and the tutorial video aims to enable applicants (agents) who did not participate in the educational training to become familiar with the operation of the system as soon as possible, improve the quality and efficiency of patent applications, as well as reduce turnaround time for official documents between applicants and the TIPO.
