Please be advised that the TIPO and our office will be closed from January 1 to 4, and January 24, 2009 to February 1, 2009 respectively for the Gregorian and Chinese Lunar New Year holidays. We will not have any personnel in the office during the national holidays and will resume normal staffing respectively on January 5, 2009 and February 2, 2009. The international priority date or any other specified deadline for a response to an Office Action or renewal during the holiday periods will be automatically and respectively extended to January 5, 2009 and February 2, 2009. If you have any projects that may require attention during said period, please notify us before January 17, 2009.

Furthermore, Saturday, January 10 and 17, 2009 have been allocated work days so deadlines falling on said dates will not be extended to the following Monday.
